Salsbury Point County Park - just north of the Hood Canal Floating Bridge.  This beautiful saltwater front park has a view of the bridge and Hood Canal, large sandy beach and grassy areas, play area, covered picnic area, rest rooms and limited overnight RV parking. Island Lake County Park - south of Poulsbo just off Viking Way.  This new lakefront park has play area, grassy area for picnics, public rest rooms, and lodge building for meetings, weddings and receptions.  For information, call 360-337-5350.

Parks Within 30 Minutes of Poulsbo

Buck Lake - north of Poulsbo near Hansville. This lakefront park offers picnic areas, boat launch, fishing, playground, and showers.  Open 9 a.m. to dusk. For information, call 360-337-5350.

Fay Bainbridge State Park - on Puget Sound on the northeast shore of Bainbridge Island.  This has magnificent views of Puget Sound, Mt. Illahee State Park - near Brownsville in Silverdale.  This large waterfront park has picnic areas, swimming, fishing, boating and launch, tent sites, and trailer dump.  For information, please call (360) 902-8844.

Please note:  There are no full hook-up parks in Kitsap County.  Kitsap Memorial and Fay Bainbridge State Parks do have partial hook-ups, with water and electricity.  Other state parks can accommodate “dry” camping for those RV’s that are self-contained.
